Saturday Morning Yoga and Meditation
Wake up Saturday morning and energize your body with sun salutations just outside the barn set to the live jazz rhythms of Glen Strother (Jazzam, Digital). Melorra McNutt of The Namaste Center for Wellbeing will be returning to lead an invigorating session to start the day in a positive and rejuvenating direction. This session is suitable for anyone who has practiced yoga before whether you are a beginner or advanced. Please bring your mat if you have one (we will also have some mats on hand).
Following yoga, Brookville native Lia Stormer will be leading a meditation session in the peaceful surroundings of the farm. Set aside an hour to go along with your yoga practice to gain a peaceful perspective and start to your day:
Lia Stormer has been practicing the art of Vipassana meditation daily for 6 months. Although far from being any kind of guru, she has realized some of the benefits of this practice and would like to share the technique to those who are interested. It is a practice which teaches self awareness and is universal, in that it can be practiced by anyone from any religious background to no religious background.
